Not sure. But they have great food & atmosphere
Yes, they do, providing you live in the following towns: Westfield, Scotch Plains, Fanwood, Garwood, and Cranford
Yes, Nagoya is open for lunch Mon-Sat from noon until 2:30pm
Yes, byob. There is a liquor store next to the restaurant
No. They do not have a buffet, however, if you ask, they can make most specialty requests with no problem.
Great sushi and appetizers, OK udon, attentive and quick service. The place is popular and usually crowded. That means a few delays here and there, but also guarantees that everything is super fresh.
Cute little place. Great for a quick bite to eat to quench a sushi crave.
I was very skeptical about ordering the grilled chicken teriyaki because of how easy it is to have it served dry. Despite their efforts to drench my food in an unreasonable amount of teriyaki sauce, the chicken was STILL dry. Soup was interesting and the sushi was decent, some choices were less delicious than others. However, the service was fast and the restaurant itself has a nice environment but restaurants should be rated on their food, explaining my 3 star rating.
Fish isn't fresh and menu is limited. Not bad for the price but not proper Japanese food
The sushi is great and the service is good while eating in the restaurant. However, the pickup experience is less than satisfactory.
Pretty good. BYOB, with liquor store next to it. Try the sushi pizza, it’s awesome and different than you think.
Sushi was very good, but there are better "All You Can Eat" restaurants. Soup, salad, sushi and standard rolls. $30.00 for lunch. Not even a scoop of ice cream after lol.Save your money and find a Sushi Palace. I go to Somerville. A few bucks cheaper plus you get specialty rolls, food from the kitchen and desert if you still have room.
I love this place! Freshest sushi and great staff!!
This is one of our favorite places for sushi in the area. We love to come here and sit at the bar because the owner and the other chefs are very friendly and love to talk to us when we sit there. It makes it a lot of fun for the kids and us as well to be able to ask questions while they prepare our delicious food! The Tony Tiger roll has been our go to, but yesterday we had the Sloppy Lady roll and we are in love with this roll!! It’s a delicious roll with spicy tuna with crunch in soy paper and I can’t remember what else but it was great!! My son got the sushi bullet and it was a deep fried roll that we all loved!!
For the best experience, be sure to sit at the bar and chat with the chef. He's awesome!
Busy place, so seating can get quite tight. Service is ok, took some time to get our orders in. Waited 45-50 min for our main dish after ordering, and while it was good, don't think it was worth the wait. My friend who got the sushi agreed with me. Got the Pork Katsu, and it was decent, but wished there was shredded cabbage on it besides just a small pile of daikon and veggies.
Great Service. Tasty Fish!
This place put so much rice on all you can eat sushi on purpose. Service is horrible.
My new favorite sushi spot, wish I knew about it years ago.
Great food good service and fun place to be
Sushi was delicious. Although, the AYCE special was quite pricey when compared to other all you can eat deals in the area. I would go back, just not for the AYCE.
Sad to hear the original owners sold the restaurant. They assured us that the food will be the same, while I hope this is true I doubt that it will be so. New owners of restaurants always change things, they always cut quality and change recipies. We will try it out when they fully take over, so I guess well will see the outcome. Our review to follow in a few weeks. 3/11/19 We visited Nagoya this week. Happy to say the susi is the same, very good , still very fresh and clean. One problem, sitting at the bar, the susi chefs DO NOT TALK. NO CONVERSATION. The past owners talked and had very Interesting conversations. The wait staff are a little forgetful, you order something and they forget to bring it. All in all the food is still great. But boy , do we miss the original owners☹.Oh and the price is the same to. So far. 8-21-19. Still great sushi. We continue to love this restaurant.
Nice place, good sushi, and quick attention. A little hole-in-the-wall, and worth the meal, in my humble opinion.
I have been going to this place for over 10 years, Henry the head sushi maker/owner is a pleasure to be around; as well of the rest of his family. Polite and accommodating, this place always has delicious fresh fish and will make you leave with a smile on your face. 5/5 byob liquor store literally next door.Best sushi in nj hands down.
Best sushi I've had in NJ by far. The place is run by one big family who gets their ingredients fresh from the NYC market every day. Don't let the unappealing location or decor fool you. This sushi will knock your socks off.
Popular little Japanese place. Loyal local clientele. Nothing spectacular, but an unassuming atmosphere and good value.
I have tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt multiple times but today put me over the edge. I picked up a sushi roll to go, got home and was using my spicy mayo when I found a dead bug. Not sure if it came off the roll or when I dipped it or was in the mayo. Needless to say I lost my appetite and never again. I’ll stick to Fujiyama
The worst shrimp tempura I ever had, overcooked and hard shrimp tempura and I specifically ordered and asked for a fresh hot and crispy shrimp tempura in the role. The sushi was very good and they give you very large portions. The all-you-can-eat should be called a starter meal because its $30.00 and they upcharge $3 for every special role and it doesn't come with any appetizers. Also worth noting that the staff is very Stern and unfriendly and they continued to stress that they will upcharge for everything. Three or four different staff members told me I only had 2 hours and I had to finish everything or be charged extra. I eat sushi around 4 times a month and I always get a salad, an appetizer, and a few pieces of sushi and two special rolls.
Great staff been going here for years never disappointed
Very good Japanese Restaurant, food was great!
Love this place! Henry and Sonny have created rolls that will spoil you for sushi anywhere else. The sushi and sashimi are so tasty so perfectly prepared, perfect temperature, just the right balance.BYOB with ok stocked liquor store next door(they discount to Nagoya customers).
The people at this place is almost my favorite part. We walked in at 9:30 thinking that it might be too late but going for it because we were so hungry- they were closing at 10:00 p.m. We were welcomed with smiles and pleasant greetings from the entire staff. Such cool people! The food was phenomenal-- we ate a house salad, a sashimi sushi combo, a peanut avocado roll, vegetable tempura and vegetable gyoza. It was beyond delicious and fresh and I am so excited to have found this place!!
Nagoya is a consistently good place to go for dinner. I often go with a group of 4-6 people and they're always very accommodating and friendly.
New owners are doing a great job.
Really good neighborhood sushi place. Sushi very fresh and creative special rolls. We had the spicy dragon. We ordered the sushi for 2 which was great and a lot of food. Service was ok - friendly and helpful though could be a bit more attentive. Busy for a weeknight. People sitting at the counter seemed to be having a good time talking to the chef.
Delicious every time, fun rolls and great service.
Delicious variety of options. Fresh food. Great sushi place!
The food is good. However, I had a horrible experience there. I went to have a nice and peaceful dinner but after a few minutes a man started to yell like a psycho in the tiki because he was watching a game. His yelling was so bad that the waitress nervously kept looking at me, the only customer in the first floor, and upstairs. The staff did not do anything.
Service was terrible. Food was nothing special. Prices were decent. Ordered sushi, waited 45 mins. When we finally did receive it, we didn’t receive the sauces that we requested until 15 minutes later. Expect extremely slow service.
Always thought I knew some good places for sushi, until I was brought here. THIS PLACE IS THE BEST!!! Have been here many, many times now and am always satisfied and have never once been disappointed. One of those places that once you try it, your hooked!!
By far our most favorite sushi restaurant in Westfield. The quality & level of service is top notch every visit.
What a monumental disappointment this once fine restaurant has become. The service was so poor, half our order came out incorrectly, former favorites were tasteless, and we had to ask three times for water and spicy mayo. As a 24-hour follow-up, I ended up getting food poisoning.
Consistently good sushi. Only had one bad dish in the 2 years we've been eating here. The service is fast, and the servers are always very attentive. As long as we still live in the area, we'll keep coming back.
Perfect date with my daughter when you are both sushi lovers. Never go wrong with the food and waiters. Atmosphere is always positive.
Ordered at 644pm it’s now 845pm and every time we call they say it will be here in 10 mins if I could give negative stars I would
Best fried rice I have ever tasted!!
Food was good. But the service was terrible. The server was rude and seemed annoyed to even be working on that particular day. She never came to ask us if we needed anything else. If we did call her to request an additional order she would just roll her eyes and sigh. This was supposed to be a birthday dinner but the whole experience was just awful. I enjoyed coming here before but that is the last time I ever go. The other servers were more pleasant and at the end of the meal we didn’t even see our original server. Someone else came to give us the check.
The best sushi in the area, in my opinion. Always fresh and always good. Service is good. Take out is good also. Only negative is they don't deliver to my town. But worth the trip to pick up.
Great selection of special rolls and good quality..one of my fav sushi spots in union county area (daimatsu in mountainside and Kyoto in union are up there as well)
Very good sushi but usually the place is very busy.
Great Japanese food. They take a little for a wait but very good.
I was on the fence about this place, so I gave it another chance. Now I'm sure. I don't like it. The menu is a little confusing, the all you can eat menu is completely undescriptive and looks like a cheap photo copy, because it is. But the biggest problem is size. Sushi is supposed to be a one bite thing. And their pieces are way too big. And they charge for refills on ice tea.
Nice, seems many regulars here.
Sushi was great, soup was cold and salad was swimming in dressing.
